Hotel Room Workout #6

Today's workout is a circuit workout with very little cardio, but lots of resistance work. If you get done with the workout and decide you need some extra cardio, then set a goal of running 5 sprints in the parking lot of your hotel.

Here is today's workout, as always you can find written directions below the video.  Repeat the 3 times for a total of 4 sets:

  • Exercise #1- Single Leg Deadlift-  You should feel this in the leg that is on the ground.  10 reps on each leg.
  • Exercise #2- L-Lifts- 10reps each side for a total of 20reps per set.
  • Exercise #3- Russian Twists- 30reps on each side
  • Exercise #4- Pike Crunches- 30reps
  • Exercise #5- Incline Pushups- 10reps-15reps with feet elevated
  • Exercise #6- Knees to the pillow- 30reps/leg

 

If you are eating on the road today, here are some lower calorie options:

  • Breakfast- Bowl of Cheerios w/ Lowfat milk.  Small glass of OJ
  • Snack- Baked Chips.  1/2 of a personal bag.
  • Lunch- Panera Breads Turkey Artichoke Panini w/ glass of water
  • Dinner- Popeyes 3 piece chicken strip with corn on the cob.
